Working on a new technique on your own is always different than when you’re in class. There’s lots of trying to remember which step comes next, figuring out why the glass isn’t doing what you thought it would and strategizing on how to fix it–but it’s always good. Since I’m taking an incalmo class, it’s been the focus of my practice time.
A few weeks ago I set out to make a National’s themed pint glass. I’d need two cups: one red, one blue. Here’s me making the blue one.
The color turned out fabulous.
The shape itself is also good, but it’s more like a pint and a half!
